11 Years Experience
I have over 11 years of professional experience, with 4 in Product Management. My career began in web design, pushing the boundaries of CSS-driven layouts in the early 2000's. Since then, I've worked in web, IT, project, and product management across a number of different industries.
2014 - Present
At Aptify, I am the sole PM for product portfolio that includes an enterprise CRM/AMS platform, eCommerce system, and mobile applications. I am responsible for setting product direction, market research and analytics, backlog maintenance, feature design and prototyping, requirements, and release plans.
2012 - 2014
MatrixMaxx, a software division at Matrix Group, developed and supported a SaaS AMS platform targeting small associations and non-profits. I managed a team of 7, including developers, designers, and testers. I worked closely with clients to create functional requirements for key features. Using my strengths in analytics and market data, I was instrumental in developing the product roadmap.
2010 - 2012
STC brought me on board to be the main driver for a rebranding and web redevelopment project. I was the lead designer/developer for the web portfolio, as well as responsible for the IT departments budget, support contracts, and purchasing.
2009 - 2010
At ACORE, I was responsible for development and maintenance of their many web sites.
Ferrari of Washington
2006 - 2009
At Ferrari, I managed the IT deparment which including system administration and web development. I was the lead developer for a brand new sales and marketing web platform, and played a key role in the expansion to a second and third dealership.
A strong entrepreneurial spirit keeps me up at night.
I have constantly been dreaming up, and frequently developing, new ideas and projects that I thought could make a difference and disrupt an industry. I've had the fortune to start two companies, both focused on the tabletop gaming space.
Chronicles: The Game
2015 - Present
Chronicles is a tabletop miniature game that combines amazing on-table gameplay with an immersive online campaign. I am responsible for product design, market research, strategic direction, finances, and purchasing.
Torrent of Fire
2013 - Present
Torrent of Fire is a software company that builds a Tournament Management System, enabling live gaming tournaments to manage, score, and pair their events. Coupled with the tournament administration, we have a data analytics and reporting suite that allows for real time player and event tracking. At TOF, I'm responsible for sales, marketing, product design, and content creation.
Just My Education
My educational background has always been technical and creative. From a young age, I starred in art and science programs, and continued that trajectory into college. I look forward to beginning an MBA program in Fall, 2016.
